Vegan pigs in a blanket

Vegan pigs in a blanket is a must try for all sausage lovers! I initially attempted this as a way to increase my protein intake. The lite life sausages have great macros, with very little fat, and packs a lot of protein per sausage!

How?

  1. Follow along this bread making recipe
  2. After the initial 45 minutes, flatten the dough.
  3. In a pan, heat vegan sausages (in the image, I used lite life and tofurkey).
  4. Take a small peice of dough and stretch into an isosceles triangle.
  5. Wrap the sausages with the peice of dough so that the shape resembles a blanket.
  6. Bake the “pigs in the blanket” at 400F for 15-25 minutes.
  7. Glaze it with oil and serve.
